Back in 2005 while I was attending college, I decided to take a trip out to the airport to go up in an airplane. I walked into SunQuest and Tamara the office manager, invited me to take an intro flight. I enjoyed the flight so much, that I changed my major to aviation. From there on, I have lived aviation through training, flying with friends, teaching, and SunQuest adventures. When I am not at the airport, I enjoy road cycling, tinkering with R/C flyers (airplane and helicopters), photography, and swimming.
Since the first day of my intro flight, I have been lucky to meet new friends and great people. The best part of aviation life is that everyone is friendly with open-arms to help anyone in need. It has been a pleasure working with Joe and Carol; they have turned an everyday-flight school into a home for aviation enthusiasts. If you were to ask anyone around there, they would tell you we are all a big family! They organize breakfast flights, scavenger hunts, and ATC tower tours. One of my favorite of things to do at SunQuest is flying aerobatics. Twice a year, we all get together and head up to Sebring for the bi-annual aerobatic competition. But the most rewarding thing about flying at SunQuest is teaching. I have flown with awesome students of which some have turned into great friendships.
