Jim Alsip teaches tail wheel skills and aerobatics for SunQuest Aviation. Jim is available by appointment; however, you can fly with Jim during Saturday’s Pizza on the Patio and enjoy discount flights: see the ocean beaches from a Super Cub; learn to roll and loop a Super Decathlon; experience an aerobatic flight in a Pitts S2. 

Jim Alsip is a Master Certified Flight Instructor-Aerobatic and a Charter Member of SAFE (Society of Aviation and Flight Educators).  He is a member of the IAC (International Aerobatic Club), and has flown competitive aerobatics since 1994. 

Jim actively promotes continuing education for pilots on the subjects of Upset and Spin Recovery and Emergency Maneuvers. Jim has been a speaker at the Sun n Fun Educational Forums since 2008, and is a current representative and speaker for the Vero Beach FAA Safety Team. You may have seen Jim on local TV channel 44 or on the internet at www.gatvonline.com. Each week Jim discusses flying tips and safety subjects in a segment titled “Hangar Talk”.

When not giving flight instruction at SunQuest Aviation, Jim does business as Dylan Aviation, Inc. in Indiantown. Jim specializes in syllabus based programs that provide aerobatic, emergency maneuver and tail wheel training.
